The E-books UK Roadshow

**The deadline for registration has now passed and all workshop locations are full**

As part of the JISC national e-books observatory project, JISC Collections is running 11 e-book workshops in January and February at universities across the UK.

Summary: The morning session will provide a brief update on the findings of the project so far followed by a discussion on what the real value of an e-book is and how does value relate to pricing models. The afternoon session will focus on addressing the question of what would need to happen for libraries to give up reliance on print and adopt e-books. What are the drivers for teaching and learning and are portability and online assessment also key drivers?
